Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and futurists to prototype next-gen solutions
- Analyze emerging tech trends (Web4, AGI, synthetic biology) for commercial viability
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present disruption scenarios to C-suite and board members using predictive modeling
- Secure $10M+ in annual innovation funding through compelling strategic proposals
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Physics, or Futurism preferred
- Published research in Nature/Science on AI alignment or quantum applications
- Proven track record of launching $50M+ tech initiatives
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology adoption lifecycle modeling
- Deep understanding of global tech policy implications (EU AI Act, US Innovation Act)
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python/Julia preferred)
