Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate next-gen tech solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and Fortune 500 companies
- Analyze emerging technologies through patent analysis, academic research, and competitive intelligence
- Present strategic visions to C-suite executives and board members
- Drive innovation culture through hackathons, R&D sprints, and thought leadership
- Secure $50M+ in innovation funding through investor relations and grant applications
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 scale
- Proven track record commercializing emerging technologies (AI/quantum/bio)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in exponential technology trends (Singularity University preferred)
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Published thought leader in tech innovation (IEEE, Nature, etc.)
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystem
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
