Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum-resistant infrastructure and generative AI ecosystems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing patent-pending solutions for autonomous systems and neural interfaces
- Conduct horizon scanning of emerging technologies (neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology, Web4.0)
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members on disruptive tech adoption pathways
- Drive innovation sprints with MIT Media Lab and Stanford AI research partnerships
- Mentor talent in emerging fields while building patent portfolios with 30+ annual filings
- Oversee $50M+ R&D budget allocation for 2026 technology incubation projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Engineering, or related field (or equivalent breakthrough experience)
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in C-suite advisory roles
- Published research in Nature/Science on AI ethics or quantum computing (impact factor >50)
- Proven track record of launching technologies with >100M users or $1B+ revenue impact
- Deep expertise in blockchain consensus algorithms and post-quantum cryptography
- Fluency in at least three programming languages (Python, Rust, Haskell preferred)
