Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum AI integration and sustainable infrastructure
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AR/VR, biotech interfaces, autonomous systems)
- Analyze emerging tech trends (Web4, decentralized networks, neurotech) for market viability
- Secure $5M+ in innovation grants through strategic partnerships with NSF, DARPA, and private VCs
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite executives and Board of Directors quarterly
- Drive R&D initiatives in climate-positive tech and ethical AI frameworks
- Mentor junior researchers in technology forecasting and patent strategy
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Engineering, or related field with 8+ years R&D leadership
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (3+ successful product launches)
- Expertise in AI ethics, quantum algorithms, and circular economy principles
- Strong network with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford, Caltech) and tech innovators
- Published research in Nature/Science journals or equivalent peer-reviewed platforms
- Certification in Technology Foresight (WFS) or Strategic Innovation Management
