In this position, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify market opportunities, conduct horizon scanning for disruptive technologies, and develop implementation roadmaps that position us as industry leaders. You'll influence C-suite decisions while maintaining a hands-on approach to technology validation.
Responsibilities
- Lead technology horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026-2030 technological inflection points
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging tech adoption (quantum, AR/VR, neuromorphic computing)
- Conduct competitive analysis and market positioning for next-gen tech solutions
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate future-facing technologies
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-backed insights
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical AI deployment and sustainable tech practices
- Represent company at industry conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy, consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging technology commercialization
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains: quantum computing, AGI, bio-integrated tech, or climate tech
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., Foresight Professional) or advanced degree in relevant field
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment methodologies
- Strong data visualization skills with ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed tech journals or industry publications
