Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain a 3-year technology innovation roadmap aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Conduct deep-dive research on emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, Web3, etc.) and assess commercial viability
- Develop implementation frameworks for pilot programs and scale strategies for promising innovations
- Partner with product teams to integrate future technologies into development roadmaps
- Present strategic insights and recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Monitor patent landscapes and competitive technology strategies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation management with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record of launching or scaling technology initiatives with measurable impact
- Expertise in at least three emerging technology domains (AI/ML, blockchain, IoT, quantum, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders across technical and business domains
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Published thought leadership or patents in emerging technology fields preferred
