Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and emerging regulations
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AR/VR, quantum interfaces, neurotech)
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies for strategic acquisition or partnership
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite and board with data-driven risk assessments
- Establish ethical frameworks for AI and automation deployment
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D budget through compelling business cases
- Mentor innovation fellows and publish thought leadership in top-tier journals
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology roles with Fortune 500 or unicorn-scale startups
- Proven track record in scaling AI/ML systems to enterprise level
- Expertise in emerging tech: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or synthetic biology
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Published research or patents in at least two emerging tech domains
- Experience with UN SDG-aligned technology initiatives
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight
- Fluency in Mandarin or Arabic (for global partnership development)
