Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological projections
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts
- Design and implement R&D frameworks for exponential technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, etc.)
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready solutions into current portfolios
- Present strategic foresight insights to executive stakeholders and investment committees
- Manage innovation incubators accelerating prototyping of next-gen solutions
- Establish KPIs measuring long-term innovation impact and ROI
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or Futures Studies (PhD preferred)
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, climate tech)
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products/services
- Certification in Foresight Methodology (e.g., AC/FS) or equivalent
- Experience building innovation ecosystems within Fortune 500 companies
- Exceptional analytical and scenario-planning capabilities
- Portfolio demonstrating futurist methodologies and deliverables
