Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies, market signals, and societal disruptions through 2030
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for quantum computing integration and AI autonomy
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize foresight insights into product development pipelines
- Produce trend impact reports for executive leadership and board presentations
- Partner with venture capital teams to evaluate next-generation startups in climate tech and neurotech
- Design innovation frameworks for ethical AI deployment and human-machine symbiosis
- Represent company at global futurist conferences and thought leadership summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, Technology Forecasting, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in exponential technologies (quantum, AI, synthetic biology) adoption curves
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex socio-technical ecosystems
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (white papers, journals)
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi method)
- Portfolio demonstrating trend forecasting accuracy in tech or sustainability sectors
- Certification in Foresight Methodology (e.g., AC/FS) preferred
