Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis to identify disruptive opportunities through 2026
- Develop and present comprehensive future roadmaps to C-suite executives and board members, translating complex insights into actionable strategies
- Architect innovation frameworks that integrate AI, quantum computing, biotech, and climate resilience into enterprise roadmaps
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-focused solutions and validate emerging market opportunities
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and policy influencers to stay ahead of paradigm shifts
- Deliver executive workshops on future literacy and innovation readiness for key stakeholders
- Author thought leadership publications on the future of work, technology ethics, and sustainable development
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD/Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in innovation strategy, consulting, or R&D leadership with demonstrated impact on future-facing initiatives
- Expertise in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, backcasting, weak signal detection) with portfolio of successful projects
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling and visualization skills to communicate complex future scenarios to diverse audiences
- Proven track record of influencing strategic decisions at executive/board level
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) or innovation methodologies preferred
