Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to identify 2026 market opportunities
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for product development and market entry
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on innovation priorities
- Produce thought leadership content (whitepapers, keynotes) positioning company as future authority
- Build and manage ecosystem partnerships with startups, universities, and research institutions
- Quantify innovation ROI through market sizing and competitive analysis frameworks
- Advise executive team on long-term technology investments and pivot strategies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, futurism, or emerging tech commercialization
- Proven track record developing and executing multi-year innovation roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two frontier technologies (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MBA, MS in Technology Innovation, or equivalent)
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystems and venture capital community
- Published thought leadership in industry journals or major media platforms
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from World Future Society) preferred
