Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions relevant to 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and present strategic innovation roadmaps for board-level decision-making
- Design and facilitate scenario-planning workshops with cross-functional leadership teams
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to pioneer next-gen solutions
- Analyze global sustainability frameworks to develop circular economy strategies
- Create competitive intelligence reports on emerging AI ethics and governance frameworks
- Guide development of patent portfolios in quantum-resistant cryptography and neural interfaces
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futuristics, Systems Engineering, or Innovation Management (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in strategic foresight, corporate innovation, or emerging tech analysis
- Proven track record of developing commercialized future-focused products/services
- Expertise in scenario modeling, trend analysis, and technology adoption curves
- Deep knowledge of quantum computing, synthetic biology, and neurotech landscapes
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFS from APF) or equivalent
- Exceptional storytelling ability to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
