Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal trends through 2030
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive futures intelligence framework with quarterly strategic foresight reports
- Design and facilitate cross-functional innovation workshops to translate foresight into actionable R&D priorities
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-facing concepts into 3-5 year product roadmaps
- Establish key performance indicators for innovation initiatives and track progress against strategic milestones
- Represent the organization at global futurist forums and build strategic partnerships with research institutions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership within tech/industry
- Proven track record of successfully implementing future-focused initiatives with measurable ROI
- Deep expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech convergence, or climate tech ecosystems
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning, trend impact analysis)
- Published thought leadership or patents in emerging technology domains
