Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing sectors
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for product innovation and market positioning
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Produce forward-looking reports and whitepapers published in industry journals
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Advise on R&D investments and M&A opportunities aligned with future market trajectories
- Mentor innovation teams in anticipatory thinking and adaptive strategy implementation
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or relevant technical field
- 7+ years experience in innovation strategy, corporate foresight, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional analytical and systems thinking capabilities with data-driven decision making
- Strong presentation skills with experience delivering to C-level audiences
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight preferred
- Portfolio published foresight work or thought leadership pieces required
