Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, climate tech) to forecast industry disruption scenarios through 2030
- Develop strategic innovation frameworks that align emerging technologies with market opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into product development pipelines
- Author executive briefings and scenario-planning models for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions, research labs, and venture capital networks
- Establish KPIs to measure innovation ROI and strategic alignment
- Mentor innovation teams in future-proofing methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, R&D leadership, or corporate innovation
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial products/services
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in innovation or futures research (peer-reviewed journals)
