Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 5-year strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts impacting 2026-2030
- Produce executive-ready innovation roadmaps with risk assessments and opportunity valuations
- Partner with R&D to incubate exponential technologies and accelerate commercialization
- Represent the organization at global futurist forums and maintain cutting-edge industry networks
- Translate foresight insights into measurable KPIs for product and business development teams
- Mentor junior strategists and build an internal innovation culture
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial strategy in tech/biotech sectors
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and scenario planning frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills for complex concepts
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFPC, APF) preferred
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic innovation
- Experience working in agile environments with rapid prototyping capabilities
