Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate resilience) to identify strategic opportunities for 2026+ market positioning
- Develop and implement horizon scanning frameworks to detect disruptive technologies and paradigm shifts
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-proof business models and customer experiences
- Design strategic foresight workshops for executive teams to stress-test scenarios and build adaptive roadmaps
- Establish KPIs for innovation maturity and track adoption of future-ready capabilities across 15+ business units
- Represent the company at global forums on future-focused leadership and sustainable innovation
- Mentor a team of futurists and innovation specialists to cultivate organizational foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or C-suite leadership with proven impact
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 2026+ strategic initiatives in Fortune 500 or high-growth environments
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and disruption modeling methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neuro interfaces)
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent practical experience
- Exceptional storytelling ability to translate complex futures into actionable business strategies
- Track record of securing $5M+ innovation budgets and delivering measurable ROI
