- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and executive teams
- Produce trend reports and scenario-planning models for C-suite decision-making
- Partner with venture capital teams to scout and acquire emerging technologies
- Design organizational structures to adapt to future workforce paradigms
- Represent company at global futurist forums and thought leadership summits
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, R&D leadership, or futurist research
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent field
- Published thought leadership on technological singularity or societal transformation
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Experience building innovation labs or corporate venturing units
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., from Foresight Practitioner Program)
- Portfolio of future-focused projects with measurable impact
