Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, market signals, and sociocultural shifts to forecast 2026's dominant trends
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for organizational adaptation and competitive advantage
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into product development and operational roadmaps
- Establish quantitative and qualitative metrics to track trend accuracy and strategic impact
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations on future-focused methodologies
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify next-generation investment opportunities
- Advise executive leadership on long-term risk mitigation and innovation portfolio optimization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, trend analysis, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial or organizational strategy
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence and public speaking ability
- Portfolio demonstrating published futurist work or implemented strategic foresight projects
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFM, APF) preferred
