Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for product development and market expansion
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions using AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Present foresight insights to executive stakeholders and board members through compelling visualizations
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership reports and whitepapers positioning Horizon as the 2026 innovation authority
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend impact methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Portfolio demonstrating published future-focused research or strategic frameworks
- Certification in Foresight methodologies (preferred)
