Responsibilities
- Architect and implement the 2026 strategic vision across product development, market expansion, and R&D initiatives
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neuro-interfaces) and assess disruptive potential
- Develop scenario-based frameworks for existential risk mitigation and opportunity capture
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align organizational strategy with future market realities
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford) and innovation labs for cutting-edge research
- Mentor teams in exponential thinking and adaptive planning methodologies
- Present strategic foresight findings to stakeholders through immersive data visualizations
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or executive leadership with proven impact on future-shaping initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least three exponential technology domains (AI, biotech, quantum, energy)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through paradigm shifts
- Mastery of scenario planning tools (STEEP analysis, Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or relevant technical field
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 5+ year strategic predictions with measurable outcomes
