Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technological paradigms (quantum computing, biotech convergence, AI ethics) to develop 2026 innovation roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable product development strategies
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify and acquire emerging startups with disruptive 2026 potential
- Author annual 'Future State' reports influencing $500M+ R&D investment decisions
- Represent Horizon Dynamics at global forums (Davos, Web Summit) as a technology futurist thought leader
- Design ethical frameworks for next-gen autonomous systems and human-AI collaboration models
- Mentain proprietary trend intelligence database using proprietary predictive analytics platform
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology research
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical field (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into commercialized products or services
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum, neurotech, climate tech)
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience to C-suite boards and global audiences
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry white papers
- Proficiency in strategic foresight methodologies (Horizon Scanning, Delphi, Scenario Planning)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-to-market innovations
