Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology foresight strategies aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions (AR/VR, quantum applications, AI ethics frameworks)
- Analyze emerging tech disruptions and provide actionable recommendations to executive leadership
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Author thought leadership content on future tech implications for industry and society
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget for experimental projects and pilot programs
- Mentor R&D teams on future-proofing technologies and methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, innovation management, or futurism consulting
- Proven track record translating emerging tech trends into commercial strategies
- Expertise in AI, quantum computing, or immersive technologies
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech publications (MIT Tech Review, Wired, etc.)
- Experience leading cross-continental teams and managing R&D budgets >$3M
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Forecasting
- Portfolio demonstrating at least two successfully commercialized future-tech initiatives
