As a key member of our Future Intelligence Lab, you'll collaborate with quantum computing researchers, AI ethicists, and biotech pioneers to develop breakthrough frameworks for 2026 and beyond. This role combines deep technical expertise with strategic foresight to create actionable roadmaps for our global enterprise partners.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2026
- Develop speculative prototypes and simulations of future tech ecosystems (AR/VR, neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology)
- Translate complex future scenarios into strategic roadmaps for C-suite executives
- Coordinate cross-functional sprints with robotics, blockchain, and climate tech teams
- Author thought leadership publications on emerging tech ethics and governance
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops with Fortune 500 partners
- Maintain the 2026 Tech Radar methodology and maturity matrix
Qualifications
- MS/PhD in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Future Studies with 7+ years experience
- Proven expertise in at least three emerging domains: quantum computing, neurotech, or climate modeling
- Portfolio demonstrating speculative tech projects (hardware/software prototypes welcome)
- Experience with foresight methodologies (horizon scanning, Delphi, scenario planning)
- Strong programming skills (Python/JavaScript) and familiarity with simulation frameworks
- Published research or patents in emerging technology or innovation strategy
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight preferred
