Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps anticipating quantum computing, AGI, and biotech convergence
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for regulatory frameworks affecting emerging tech adoption
- Conduct patent landscape analysis for neuromorphic computing and synthetic biology
- Interface with DARPA, EU Horizon, and other future-tech funding bodies
- Architect ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and AI decision-making
- Mentor a team of technology futurists and innovation consultants
- Present strategic briefings to board members and government stakeholders
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field with 8+ years tech strategy experience
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Published research in Nature, Science, or IEEE on future-tech implications
- Expertise in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Deep understanding of global tech policy landscapes (US, EU, Asia)
- Experience building ethics frameworks for autonomous systems
- Fluency in at least one quantum programming language (Qiskit, Cirq)
