Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and organizational goals
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Design strategic frameworks for adoption of frontier technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate foresight into tangible innovation pipelines
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions and industry thought leaders
- Develop scenario models for technological disruption and mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence
- Experience developing long-term technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Certification in Futures Research or Technology Foresight (e.g., CFP, CFT)
