Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead scenario planning for disruptive technologies (quantum, AGI, neurotech)
- Conduct horizon scanning and publish quarterly trend briefings for executive stakeholders
- Design ethical frameworks for AI implementation and autonomous systems
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Represent company at global tech summits and academic symposiums
- Mentor junior futurists and establish innovation incubation programs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation consulting
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published research or proven track record in emerging technology forecasting
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, biotech, AGI ethics, or climate tech
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through technology transitions
- Certification in Futures Methodology (e.g., CFS) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful tech commercialization strategies
