Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market forecasts and emerging trends
- Analyze disruptive technologies (quantum AI, bio-integrated systems, decentralized networks) for commercial viability
- Lead scenario-planning initiatives to prepare for technological disruption and market volatility
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-focused solutions and validate technical feasibility
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and board members through data-driven narratives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech innovators to shape industry standards
- Mentor junior strategists in future-gazing methodologies and technology assessment frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech companies
- Deep expertise in predictive analytics, AI governance, and exponential technology trends
- Proven track record of launching at least two market-defining technology initiatives
- Proficiency in futures research tools (horizon scanning, Delphi method, scenario modeling)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism or innovation strategy (IEEE, ACM, or similar)
- Experience with quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or sustainable tech ecosystems
