Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 5-10 year technology foresight framework using AI-driven trend analysis
- Lead strategic planning sessions with executive stakeholders to align on future-state capabilities
- Architect innovation roadmaps for quantum computing, biotech convergence, and neural interfaces
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and other future-focused institutions
- Translate foresight outputs into actionable product development milestones
- Present future scenarios to boards and investors to secure funding for transformational projects
- Mentor a global team of futurists and technology strategists
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic foresight, technology innovation, or future planning leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent experience
- Proven track record of launching $50M+ technology initiatives with 7+ year horizons
- Expertise in emerging tech: quantum computing, AGI frameworks, and synthetic biology
- Published author in peer-reviewed foresight journals or industry whitepapers
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS or SFI)
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants (SBIR, DARPA, etc.)
- Portfolio demonstrating scenario planning for Fortune 500 transformations
