Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify breakthrough technologies with 2026 market impact
- Develop strategic roadmaps for quantum adoption, AI governance, and biotech integration
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions (AR/VR, nanotech, climate tech)
- Present futuristic scenarios to executive leadership and investment committees
- Build global innovation networks with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Translate complex technical concepts into compelling business narratives
- Advise on ethical frameworks for emerging technologies and societal impact
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology consulting or R&D leadership
- Proven track record forecasting tech trends (published research/portfolio)
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AI ethics, or climate tech
- Experience with scenario planning and futures methodologies
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or Futures Studies
- Exceptional communication skills for executive and technical audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating thought leadership (whitepapers, patents, keynotes)
