Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual technology horizon reports forecasting breakthrough innovations through 2026
- Partner with product teams to integrate emerging technologies into 3-5 year roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional workshops to assess societal impacts of disruptive technologies
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic labs and research institutions
- Present trend analyses to executive stakeholders with actionable recommendations
- Monitor geopolitical shifts affecting technology adoption and supply chains
- Design scenarios for ethical implementation of advanced AI and automation systems
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or futurism research
- Proven track record of predicting industry-defining tech trends (published research required)
- Expertise in at least three emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of ethical implications of exponential technologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
