Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies impacting our industry by 2026
- Develop and publish annual technology roadmaps with 3-5 year strategic projections
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready solutions into current development cycles
- Present strategic insights to stakeholders through compelling narratives and data-driven visualizations
- Establish and manage innovation incubators for experimental technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Represent the company at global tech conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning or futurist consulting at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, and biotech convergence trends
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable strategies
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy (portfolio required)
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and technology adoption lifecycle modeling
- Certification in Futures Studies or equivalent professional designation
