Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional guest check-in/check-out service with warm hospitality
- Manage reservations and room assignments using property management systems
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints promptly
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for guest requests
- Market hotel amenities and local attractions to enhance guest experience
- Perform nightly audits and prepare daily reports
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency with property management systems (Opera, RoomRack)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Valid California driver's license (required for local errands)
- Basic knowledge of San Diego tourism and attractions
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
