As the General Manager, you will be the face of the hotel, responsible for the overall strategic direction, guest satisfaction, and financial performance of the property. You will lead a dedicated team of professionals dedicated to creating memorable stays for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize occupancy rates and revenue growth.
- Manage the P&L, ensuring profitability through cost control and efficient resource allocation.
- Foster a positive work environment by recruiting, training, and mentoring staff members.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, vendors, and community stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as brand standards.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve complex issues with a focus on service recovery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive management experience in a luxury or upscale hotel setting.
- Proven experience in managing budgets and financial performance.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency in hotel property management systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
