Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence: Oversee all daily hotel operations, ensuring seamless coordination between front-of-house, back-of-house, and maintenance departments.
- Financial Stewardship: Manage the P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures to maximize profitability while maintaining luxury standards.
- Guest Experience: Champion a guest-centric culture, personally addressing VIP needs and ensuring every stay creates lasting memories.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor a diverse team of hospitality professionals, fostering a positive and high-performance work environment.
- Marketing & Sales: Develop and execute strategies to drive occupancy rates and maximize revenue through partnerships and local events.
- Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and safety protocols.
- Community Engagement: Act as an ambassador for The Grand Hotel NOLA, engaging with the local New Orleans community and cultural events.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years in hotel management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role within a luxury hotel.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Skills: Proven track record in P&L management, revenue management, and strategic planning.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
- Licensing: Valid driver’s license and alcohol awareness certification required.
- Adaptability: Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in a fast-paced environment.
