Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring all necessary registration information is collected accurately.
- Handle all incoming phone calls and emails with a professional and polite demeanor.
- Process payments, manage reservations, and answer questions regarding hotel amenities and local attractions.
- Resolve guest complaints or issues in a timely and courteous manner to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area and lobby.
- Assist with concierge services, including directions and local recommendations.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms meet quality standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in a hotel front desk or customer service role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong computer proficiency, including familiarity with Property Management Systems (PMS).
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate amounts of weight (up to 20 lbs).
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are preferred.
