Responsibilities
- Oversee all hotel operations including front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance departments
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve revenue targets and occupancy goals
- Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluation processes
- Ensure compliance with health/safety regulations and brand standards
- Handle guest complaints and resolve service issues with professionalism
- Collaborate with sales team to maximize revenue through upselling and package deals
- Monitor financial performance and prepare monthly operational reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5 years hotel management experience in luxury properties
- Proven track record of revenue growth and operational excellence
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams
- Expert knowledge of PMS systems (Opera preferred) and hospitality technology
- Exceptional problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Valid Illinois Food Service Manager certification
- Proficiency in English; bilingual Spanish a plus
