Responsibilities
- Oversee Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk staff, ensuring all check-ins, check-outs, and reservations are processed efficiently and accurately.
- Guest Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for guests, addressing complaints, requests, and ensuring a 5-star experience.
- Shift Management: Create and manage shift schedules, track time punches, and ensure all staff are present and prepared for their duties.
- Opening/Closing Duties: Conduct nightly security checks, reconcile cash and credit card transactions, and ensure the property is secure.
- Staff Training: Mentor junior staff members and provide on-the-job training for new hires.
- Inventory Control: Monitor and order front-of-house supplies, toiletries, and amenities as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel front desk operations or hospitality management.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead a team effectively in a high-volume environment.
- Availability: Must be willing to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Software: Proficiency with Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Opera or SkyTouch.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; hospitality degree a plus.
