Responsibilities
- Guest Experience: Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere at the front desk.
- Operational Support: Assist with the daily operations of the hotel, including answering phones, managing reservations, and responding to guest inquiries via email or in person.
- Housekeeping Coordination: Work closely with the housekeeping team to ensure guest rooms and public areas are immaculate and meet our high standards of cleanliness.
- Event Support: Assist with set-up, service, and break-down of banquet halls and event spaces, ensuring a seamless experience for event attendees.
- Problem Resolution: Address guest complaints or issues with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset, escalating complex matters to management as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and culinary staff to ensure the smooth functioning of all hotel departments.
- Brand Representation: Uphold the hotelβs brand image and values at all times, maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
- Experience: Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or retail is a plus, but we are happy to train motivated candidates with no prior experience.
- Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly, approachable personality are essential.
- Availability: Must be flexible to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings to meet the demands of our guests.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights (up to 25 lbs), and navigate the hotel property efficiently.
- Computer Literacy: Basic proficiency with computers and property management systems is helpful.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
