Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas to strict hotel standards.
- Make beds, change linens, and ensure all amenities are fully stocked.
- Empty trash cans and replace liners in guest rooms and corridors.
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or lost and found items to the supervisor promptly.
- Ensure the safety and security of guest belongings and hotel property.
- Maintain a positive, professional demeanor with guests and colleagues at all times.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or custodial experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand, walk, and exert physical effort for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Availability for on-call shifts is a plus.
