Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including changing linens, restocking amenities, and vacuuming
- Deep-clean public areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms to brand standards
- Inspect rooms for maintenance issues and report repairs to engineering team
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and request restocks as needed
- Adhere to safety protocols and proper chemical handling procedures
- Coordinate with front desk for room status updates and special requests
- Maintain organized supply closets and equipment storage areas
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
- Valid Massachusetts work permit (if applicable)
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment operation
