Responsibilities
- Supervise daily housekeeping operations for 15-20 rooms
- Train and mentor new housekeeping staff
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas for quality standards
- Manage inventory and ordering of cleaning supplies
- Coordinate with maintenance department for repairs
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation protocols
- Submit daily performance reports to management
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years housekeeping experience in hospitality
- Supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours daily
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Valid California driver's license (if required for supply runs)
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Basic computer literacy for reporting systems
