- Drive patent development and intellectual property strategy
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets across 3-5 concurrent projects
- Partner with C-suite to align innovation initiatives with corporate vision
- Mentor cross-disciplinary teams of engineers, designers, and strategists
- Present breakthrough concepts to investors and industry stakeholders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology innovation leadership
- Proven track record launching at least 3 breakthrough products/services
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in emerging tech trends (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech)
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing complex R&D budgets
- Exceptional strategic thinking with ability to translate vision to execution
- Published thought leadership in innovation or future-tech publications
