Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and oversee the implementation of scalable, distributed AI infrastructure and model training pipelines.
- Research & Development: Drive innovation in neural network optimization, reinforcement learning, and natural language processing (NLP).
- Team Mentorship: Mentor senior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Strategic Planning: Define the technical roadmap for our 2026 product releases, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Prototyping: Rapidly prototype and validate novel AI algorithms to solve complex business problems.
- Collaboration: Partner with product management and engineering teams to translate research into production-ready software.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 4 years specifically in Machine Learning/AI research and development.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, C++, and PyTorch or TensorFlow. Deep understanding of distributed systems and cloud computing (AWS/GCP).
- Domain Knowledge: Strong background in Deep Learning, Transformers, or Quantum Computing concepts.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving unstructured problems and delivering scalable solutions in high-pressure environments.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
