Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 global innovation strategy, identifying paradigm-shifting opportunities across AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' teams to prototype breakthrough solutions for climate resilience and human augmentation
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government agencies, and emerging tech startups
- Present quarterly foresight briefings to the board and executive leadership, translating complex scenarios into executable roadmaps
- Architect Horizon's 'Regenerative 2030' framework, embedding circular economy principles into all product development
- Mentor the next generation of futurists through our Horizon Academy program
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent experience with 8+ years in strategic foresight
- Proven track record of launching at least three industry-defining initiatives post-2020
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from the Association of Professional Futurists)
- Portfolio demonstrating scenario planning work for Fortune 500 clients
- Fluency in at least two future-critical languages (e.g., Mandarin, Spanish, Arabic)
