Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum algorithms for NISQ (Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum) devices.
- Collaborate with hardware engineering teams to optimize quantum circuit layouts and reduce error rates.
- Develop error mitigation and error correction strategies to enhance algorithm reliability.
- Lead a cross-functional team of quantum researchers and software developers.
- Translate complex quantum mechanical concepts into practical software pipelines for client deployment.
- Conduct rigorous performance benchmarking and modeling for future quantum hardware generations.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in quantum computing research or software development.
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages such as Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane.
- Deep understanding of linear algebra, probability theory, and complex numbers.
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum, Google Cloud).
- Strong background in classical optimization algorithms and machine learning.
