Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable, high-performance systems for Project 2026, integrating quantum computing protocols with classical machine learning pipelines.
- Lead a cross-functional team of physicists, data scientists, and software engineers to define technical vision and roadmap.
- Optimize algorithms for near-term quantum devices and future fault-tolerant architectures.
- Establish best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment in a rapidly evolving tech stack.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex scientific requirements into actionable technical specifications.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with emerging hardware and software technologies.
Qualifications
- Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with a focus on high-performance computing or distributed systems.
- Deep understanding of quantum computing principles (Qiskit, Cirq, or similar frameworks) and AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Proven track record of leading engineering teams and managing complex technical projects from inception to delivery.
- Strong proficiency in Python, C++, and cloud-native technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
