Responsibilities
- Design and prototype seamless, non-invasive user interfaces for Brain-Computer Interfaces (BCI) and Neural Lace systems.
- Translate complex neural data streams into visually intuitive and actionable UI elements.
- Conduct user research and usability testing specifically focused on cognitive load and neural feedback loops.
- Collaborate with neuroscientists to ensure designs respect biological limitations and ethical standards.
- Create high-fidelity interactive prototypes using industry-standard tools (Figma, Unity, Unreal Engine).
- Advocate for inclusive design principles to ensure accessibility for users with varying neurological profiles.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in HCI, AR/VR, and AI to drive innovation within the product roadmap.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Cognitive Neuroscience, Psychology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with a portfolio demonstrating experience with emerging tech or complex data visualization.
- Strong understanding of neuroplasticity, cognitive load theory, and human factors engineering.
- Proficiency in prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe XD) and 3D modeling software (Blender, Maya).
- Experience with motion design and animation for interactive interfaces.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
