Responsibilities
- Conduct the nightly audit, including financial reconciliation and posting of charges.
- Greet guests upon arrival and resolve any immediate concerns or requests.
- Monitor hotel security systems and ensure the safety of guests and property.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and operational logs.
- Coordinate with the front desk and housekeeping to ensure guest needs are met efficiently.
- Manage key access and visitor management protocols.
- Assist in training junior staff on night shift procedures and standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; hospitality management certificate a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel operations, preferably in a Night Audit role.
- Strong knowledge of hotel PMS (Property Management Systems) such as Opera or Micros.
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
