Responsibilities
- Oversee all front desk operations during overnight hours, including check-ins/check-outs and guest inquiries
- Process financial transactions, reconcile daily reports, and manage cash handling procedures
- Monitor security systems and respond to emergency situations promptly
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for operational efficiency
- Prepare end-of-day financial summaries and distribute reports to management
- Address guest concerns with professionalism and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction
- Perform system backups and maintain accurate guest records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality degree preferred
- 2+ years hotel front desk or night auditor experience
- Proficiency in hotel management systems (Opera, Fidelio)
- Exceptional multitasking and problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic knowledge of local attractions and transportation options
